Dose range: Take with food
Name Starting Dose Frequency Route Artesunate (Severe malaria) 2.4 mg/kg IV Give at 0 hr, 12 hr, 24 hr, and 48 hr IV Artemether with Lumefantrime (acute uncomplicated falciparum malaria,
chloroquine-resistant non-falciparum malaria)
24 tablets over 60 hours 4 tablets, followed by 4 tablets x 5 doses each given at 8, 24, 36, 48 and 60 hours
