• Airway and Breathing:
  • Ensure a clear and patent airway.
  • Provide supplemental oxygen to maintain SpO₂ between 94-98%.
  • Consider advanced airway management (e.g. endotracheal intubation) if needed.
  • Monitor for signs of respiratory distress or failure.
• Circulation:
  • Monitor blood pressure and heart rate. get CXR and Echo
  • Optimize cardiac output: inotropes, vasodilators, fluids and/or diuretics
  • Establish intravenous (IV) or intraosseous (IO) access.
  • Administer IV fluids to maintain adequate perfusion.
  • Use vasopressors (e.g., norepinephrine) if hypotension persists.
• Temperature Management:
  • Implement targeted temperature management (TTM) to maintain a core temperature of 32-36°C.
  • Use cooling devices (e.g., cooling blankets, ice packs) and monitor core temperature regularly.
• Neurological Monitoring:
  • Assess level of consciousness using the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS).
  • Monitor for signs of seizures and consider EEG monitoring.
  • Consult neurology if there are concerns about neurological function.
• Diagnostic Testing:
  • Perform a 12-lead ECG to assess for myocardial ischaemia or infarction.
  • Obtain blood tests, including arterial blood gases (ABGs), electrolytes, and cardiac biomarkers.
  • Consider imaging studies (e.g., chest X-ray, CT scan) as needed.
